The radio that sends the camera picture to your goggles. Its power decides range; the law decides its limit.

The camera you fly by. Not a recording camera: its job is a usable picture with as little delay as possible.

Listens to your radio controller. It must speak the same protocol as the radio, or the two never connect.

The pack that powers everything. Cell count must match what the electronics accept, and the plug must match too.

Refills the packs. It has to support the number of cells your batteries have.

What you see through. They must understand the same video system the drone transmits, or you get nothing.

The controller in your hands. It has to speak the same protocol as the receiver in the aircraft.

Sends or receives the video signal. The connector and the frequency band both have to match.

Records where the aircraft is, so it can fly home or be found after a crash.

Screams after a crash so you can find the aircraft in long grass.
